Dear All,
For reasons that are outlined here (https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46038) and here (https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43147), the Tomcat project has decided to implement a new database connection pool.
